The '90's Megamix' is a rich substrate containing a very high ratio of hydrated grain mixed with coir, vermiculite & manure (don't worry though, this sh*t don't stink). We also add the perfect amount of gypsum to support vigorous growth.

Injection port '90's Megamix' combined grain spawn & bulk substrate comes fully sterilised.
 
Perfect for growing Coprophilous (manure loving) mushrooms such as Agaricus Bisporus, Coprinus comatus and many other well known species.
 
It's a very simple process: 
1. Gently ease some air in through the filter patch by carefully teasing the sides of the gusseted bag. 
2. Wipe the grey injection port with the 70% alcohol wipe (wipe is included). 
3. Inject spores or liquid culture via the grey injection port. (we recommend using 3ml for medium bags and 5ml for large bags. 
4. Allow mycelium to colonise the substrate at room temperature for approximately1- 2 weeks, sometimes longer depending on quality and species of spores / liquid culture. 
5. After 1-2 weeks mix (break & shake) the mycelium to spread the colonies (don't open bag) 
6. Allow the mycelium to regrow into the substrate. 
7. Fruit using your preferred method - We like fruiting directly from the bag: Cut the top off the bag and introduce to high humidity and fresh air conditions.
 
The mushroom substrate is hydrated and pre-sterilised, sealed in thick strong filter patch mushroom bag and can be stored in the fridge for up to 14 days. 

Each substrate bag is sealed before it is sterilised for 120 minutes at 121ºC and 115psi. so you don't need to worry.
