This commercial strain 3782 of Shiitake mushroom fruits with caps averaging 10-20 centimetres in diameter and are attached to thin stems. When cooked, Shiitake mushrooms have a beautiful savoury, earthy, and smoky, umami flavour. The main feature of this strain is the the maturation stage is very short and can be skipped entirely.
